Jim Salestrom

Jim Salestrom is a storyteller and Emmy Award Winning songwriter. Jim was lead singer in CBS EPIC country rock band “Timberline”. Jim was friends with John Denver and is on John’s “Different Directions”album. He has been a member of Dolly Parton’s band since 1979.
Fellow singer/songwriter Livingston Taylor says “the magic of a Martin guitar is fully revealed when placed in the hands of a master like Jim Salestrom” John Denver’s road manager and record producer Kris O’Connor calls Salestrom “a wonderful entertainer and a fabulous guitarist. I think his name should be known in every household” Dolly recently wrote “You’re one of the greatest writers, singers, musicians and entertainers I’ve ever known and certainly had the opportunity to work with.”
Jim has performed for 4 US Presidents, the White House, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the U.S. Supreme Court 4 times. This is Jim’s first TED Talk.
